“Love is sweet” they said but “it takes two” they always forget to add. Here I am giving you something from my subconscious, a little different from the usual. I put together a few things that love might be and might not be. An unavoidable realism that love takes two just as it takes two to tango. And when one goes, the dance goes south! I hope you enjoy this piece from me.
Yours, Tutu.
Love takes two to tango
But it takes two to know
You can watch yourselves go
Instead of holding back to grow
You have to drop yourself and drop your ego
Love is unofficial you don’t need a tuxedo
With the one you love, you’ll have a high libido
It’ll have you acting like you are a dodo
Running after each other like you are on mojo
Just like the sound that comes from a piccolo
Their love will surround you and play like stereo
Love can be dynamic it’s not a photo
With love, everyday is not going to be disco
Some days it’ll be macro, some days it’ll be micro
But most days it will have you feeling like you won a lotto
Because you have found someone more than an amigo
Watch what you say to the one you love don’t be a radio
Because words you say can damage the heart and soul
So before you shoot, be sure of your arrow and bow
Words are like eggs, once said it can’t be withhold
You don’t have to argue to be the hero
Love is not martial art, it’s not taekwondo
Love to you might feel as though
Everything you reap you did sow
But love doesn’t even come with an embargo
When you love, you love in solo
and it won’t matter even if anyone calls you a dumbo
Definitely a lot of things you’ll have to forgo
You’ll drop your old self and won’t be a gigolo
You don’t have to be perfect, love is no video
But love shares a lot of similarities with a canoe
You need to balance the paddle and row
And this takes two if you must know
Consider everything you are and weigh each scenario
You care for yourself and your partner also
Don’t do things that will take you from hundred to zero
Put you and your other and always draft a ratio
Just as it’s impossible to clean vitiligo
Letting your person go can cause you a tornado
One that will have you feeling like a potato
Except the person is an inferno
and you have confirmed that their love is pseudo
Hold on to the one you love like a piano
Because when they leave it’s a goodbye with no hello
To avoid a love that ends in torso
That will leave you feeling like you were just a cameo
In a commitment that takes two to tango
I hope you enjoyed this piece, till next week. Remember I love you and it takes the two of us to make it work. I think, write and send, You like, comment and share. ❤️
